About Me

With a background rooted in fine art and a deep connection to nature, my creative practice is shaped by a sensitivity to color, texture, and space. Whether through painting, ceramics, or interior design, I’m driven by the belief that thoughtful aesthetics have a quiet but powerful impact on how we experience the world around us.

I hold a dual degree from the University of Oregon in Fine Art and Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Environmental Design—an academic path that continues to inform both my artistic process and design approach. My journey began at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where I built a strong foundation in art fundamentals before transferring west to deepen my studies.

Professionally, I’ve gained hands-on experience in many facets of the art world:

• Serving as Assistant Manager of a ceramics studio in Lancaster, PA, while building my own practice in painting, ceramics, and jewelry.
   
• Working as Assistant Art Director at Squash Blossom Gallery in Colorado.
   
• Founding and directing Pikes Peak Artist Collective in Colorado Springs, where I taught both adult and children's art classes. I developed a full range of youth and adult classes, and supported a growing community of instructors and local artists. I continued to manage the studio remotely after returning to Pennsylvania, guiding it through a successful sale in 2024.
   

These experiences sharpened my skills in business ownership, customer service, teaching, and creative leadership—and, most importantly, deepened my desire to work closely with people in hands-on, imaginative ways.

Now based back in Pennsylvania, I’ve expanded into interior design, a natural extension of my lifelong passion for creating intentional, beautiful environments. This new venture brings together my years of experience as an artist and educator with my commitment to accessible, community-focused design.
