"Through my creative efforts, I strive to connect with my community, embrace learning, and continually evolve as both an artist and a person—drawing inspiration from others while inspiring those around me."
From a young age, I have been passionate about art and design, aspiring to become an interior designer since high school. My academic journey began at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where I studied art fundamentals for 1.5 years, before transferring to the University of Oregon. There, I spent five years honing my craft with a focus on glaze chemistry, alongside earning a degree in environmental studies.
After college, I gained valuable experience in the art world as the assistant manager of a ceramic studio in Lancaster, PA, while also creating and selling my own paintings, ceramics, and jewelry. This hands-on experience deepened my appreciation for artistic expression and community engagement.
My move to Colorado marked a significant turning point in my career. I briefly served as the assistant art director at Squash Blossom Gallery, which ultimately led me to own Pikes Peak Artist Collective in Colorado Springs. In this role, I restructured the business and expanded its offerings, including developing both youth and adult art classes. By welcoming new artists and instructors into our community, we achieved remarkable growth—tenfold over five years—thanks to the dedication of our talented team.
Returning to Pennsylvania to be closer to family, I managed Pikes Peak Artist Collective remotely for two years before we successfully sold the business in 2024. Now, I'm re-establishing my roots in the local art community as a member of a local artists' guild and the art collective "The Art Haus."
My journey reflects a deep commitment to fostering creativity and supporting fellow artists, and I am excited to continue exploring new opportunities to inspire and connect with the arts community close to home and online.
My deep connection to nature has always been at the heart of my creativity. Its scents, textures, and colors inspire my art and shape how I guide others in their artistic journeys. Whether painting, sculpting, or designing spaces, I find joy in the creative process and the impact aesthetics have on our experiences—often in ways we don’t consciously realize. Enhancing spaces to bring beauty and enjoyment has always been deeply fulfilling for me.
Growing up in a close-knit family, I learned resilience, compassion, and the importance of creative expression.
In 2019, with the support of my husband, I founded a thriving art school in Colorado Springs. His confidence and business acumen have been instrumental in my growth, helping me navigate new creative directions with intention and balance.
